Polycom will demonstrate the just-announced Polycom(R) RealPresence(TM) Mobile software solution for Apple iPad(TM) 2, Motorola XOOM(TM), and Samsung Galaxy Tab(TM) 10.1 tablets. As the first enterprise HD video software solution for tablets, RealPresence Mobile extends Polycom's HD video collaboration technology beyond the office and conference room to deliver to mobile users the same high-quality, secure, reliable video experience that they are accustomed to inside the office. RealPresence Mobile, powered by the Polycom(R) RealPresence(TM) Platform, enables users to choose the device of their choice, supporting multiple operating systems; 3G, 4G, and Wi-Fi networks; and multi-party, multi-point conferences across immersive, conference room, desktop, and tablet systems.
The Apple, Motorola, and Samsung tablets will also run McAfee Enterprise Mobility Management (McAfee EMM) demonstrating the two applications can work concurrently to deliver mobile HD video alongside security.
